DCT
has just updated its website and made it more user-friendly. Some of
the new features include a secure-payment system, blogs and the
option to stay in touch with regular updates through its social
media channels - Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

The
Bina Programme - an education resource for PSHE teachers and
pupils
The
Bina programme is a PSHE resource for secondary school, PRU and
College teachers and pupils. The programme focuses on improving
three key skills:
- Critical thinking
- Literacy
- Communication
The
programme uses graphic illustrated stories based on 6 themes
- Integrity, Respect, Dealing with disappointment, Reliability,
Accountability and Courage to create a platform for teachers to help
pupils learn about logical decision-making.
Each
theme comes with its own Lesson plan, PowerPoint presentation
(compatible with school whiteboards), Exercise worksheet and Pupils'
notes.

Young
Fathers Mentoring Scheme
Our
young fathers mentoring scheme matches London-based young
fathers with professional and business men who will act as positive
role models. Our mentors would focus on:
- Raising their aspirations - resolving the
education-vocational decision
- Building on their strengths
- Improving their relationships with family
- Building self-confidence and self-esteem
