We safeguard the confidentiality and storage of your personally identifiable information in accordance with current UK Data Protection legislation and guidelines. However, please be aware that “perfect security” does not exist on the internet. Further, it remains each user’s responsibility to safeguard against unauthorised access to their user details.

(b) You can access the homepage and browse this website without disclosing your personal data.

(c) When you shop on this website, we will ask you to input and will collect personal information from you such as your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and item selection.

(e) You will only receive our newsletter if you opt-in by ticking the appropriate box, subscribing on the website or by email. You can unsubscribe from our contact list at any time by either submitting a request directly from our newsletter, emailing unsubscribe@divinecommunicationstrust.org.uk by telephoning us on 020 3002 7899 or faxing us on 020 3014 5380. We will then make sure your personal information is deleted from our mailing list and databases.

(f) If you will like to check the details we hold about you, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will be happy to review and update, amend or delete your records where necessary.

(g) We will never pass, disclose or sell our customers’ personal information to any marketing lists

Prices and payment
All prices are in £ sterling and exclude VAT. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted. We charge a standard rate of £4.50 to anywhere in the UK, and £8.50 to anywhere outside the UK.

We accept payment through Google Checkout; which is a very secure mode of payment. However, it requires you to open an account to enable payment. Once payment has been taken from your credit/debit card and we have received notification of such payment, we will dispatch your purchased item(s) within 4 working days.

Payments can also be made through cheques; although payments must be received before we will dispatch your order. Please allow a longer delivery time when using this payment.

Placing an order with us
(a) You place your order by clicking on the ‘Buy Now’ button. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the website. You may be unfamiliar with Google checkout, but please be assured that it a very safe and secure payment system.

(b) Once you have placed your order, we will send you an acknowledgement email detailing the item(s) you have ordered, a payment reference number and the value of your order which has been debited from your credit/debit card

(c) Unless we have been notified by the payment system we use that payment has been cancelled, our acceptance of your order/payment completes a contract between you and us at the time and date that we notify you by email that we have dispatched the item(s) to you. The deemed time and date of receipt by you shall apply regardless of whether, for reasons outside our control, you have not received that email.

(d) All items offered on our website are subject to availability.

Dispatched/Delivery
Items purchased from us are dispatched within 4 working days of the order paid by credit/debit cards or clearance of a cheque, subject to events beyond our reasonable control. We use Royal Mail, guaranteed next day delivery to all UK destinations.

If there is a Royal Mail strike, we will endeavour to seek alternative mailing or express courier services so the item(s) reaches you within our specified time. We shall contact you by email to update you if there will be any delays. Please note we do not accept any liability whatsoever for any delay in delivery caused by third parties (including Royal Mail or any other mailing courier service companies) that we may use to deliver your order.

Cancellation
We hope you are happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of delivery (starting from the day after you receive the item), and return it for a full refund. It is your responsibility to give us notice of your wish to return the item(s) within the cancellation period by email, phone, fax and letter. We strongly recommend that returns are sent by recorded delivery and you keep original proof of postage. Please note we will not take responsibility for return postage, other than incorrectly supplied, defective or damaged items. Return postage for items returned for any other reason shall be solely at your cost. Once we receive the item in its original condition, any payments made by you will be refunded by the same method of payment within 14 working days, or where applicable, a replacement item will be dispatched as soon as possible at no extra cost to you.
