DCT (Divine Communications Trust) is the brainchild of Viv Oyolu, and is a registered Social Enterprise. We create education resources and programmes that give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the tools to improve their life chances. Our vision is to make a difference through our programmes and leave a long term positive imprint.
The Bina programme – This is a Key Stage 3 PSHE resource for 11-13 year olds designed to improve critical thinking, literacy and communication skills. Through the use of graphic illustrated stories around six themes, the programme focuses on building young people’s knowledge and confidence so they can make informed choices, and lead healthy, safe, responsible and fulfilled lives. As a social enterprise we operate like a business, but with social aims; which means we will reinvest all profit back into the business, and or invest in other projects inline with our mission to transform individuals, families and society.
We aim to be sustainable by generating profits from the sale of Bina programme toolkit and delivery of the Shaping Attitudes for the workplace; which will support the Young Fathers Mentoring scheme.
We look forward to working in partnership with:
- Individuals
- Groups
- Secondary Schools
- Pupil Referal Units (PRUs)
- Further Education (FE) and Sixth Form Colleges
- Local authorities
- Corporate and other similar organisations
