More about DCT

DCT (Divine Communications Trust) is the brainchild of Viv Oyolu, and is registered as Social Enterprise with Company House. Our vision is to ‘add value’ to young people’s lives and leave a long term positive imprint through the programmes we create; which include:

The Bina programme – The Bina programme is an engaging, interactive Key Stage 3 PSHE resource focused on building knowledge and confidence of 11-13 year olds, so they can make informed choices, and lead healthy, safe, responsible and fulfilled lives. It also focuses on improving three key skills: Critical Thinking, Literacy and Communication. Please read more here: The Bina programme

Young Fathers Mentoring – The young fathers mentoring scheme has been created to match London-based young fathers between the ages of 18 – 25, with professional and business men who will act as a positive role model. Please read more here: Young fathers mentoring scheme.

Shaping Attitudes for the workplace – This is an interactive programme aimed at improving the employability skills of 16-19 year olds preparing for work placements and apprenticeships. We run sessions in Further Education and Sixth Form Colleges; with local authorities and organisations. The programme addresses attitudes towards two fundamental issues – Relationships and Behaviour. Please read more here: Shaping Attitudes

As a social enterprise we operate like a business, but with social aims; which means we will reinvest all profit back into the business, rather paying shareholders or owners any dividends. We aim to be sustainable by generating profits generated from the sale of Bina programme toolkit and delivery of the  Shaping Attitudes for the workplace programme to run the Young Fathers Mentoring scheme.

We look to work in partnership with:

  • Individuals
  • Groups
  • Secondary Schools
  • Pupil Referal Units (PRUs)
  • Further Education (FE) and Sixth Form Colleges
  • Local authorities
  • Corporate and other similar organisations
